WATERCON®
High-performance water-reactive cold mix asphalt for permanent repairs in harsh environments
ADCo is launching a high-performance water-reactive cold mix asphalt for permanent road repairs in harsh environments (wet, humid, heavy traffic) inspired by one of the Colas products portfolio named “Watercon®”, which has been developed and used globally.
Watercon® is particularly recommended for repairs on roads witnessing heavy traffic and are subject to major wear and tear, such as highways and industrial sites. It can be used for routine maintenance operations such as for filling potholes, trenches, and small-scale leveling in both conventional and wet, humid conditions.
Performance
Watercon® is a water-reactive cold mix with a grading curve identical to that of a hot mix.

Watercon® was used in the Viet Nam Directorate of Road’s project on Ho Chi Minh Road for patching application. This new cold mix asphalt can bring to customers many advantages such as safety, simplicity of application, high performance, workability, and flexibility. Further, it can be applied in rainy conditions as well to repair roads quickly for safety purposes.
