Polymer Modified Bitumen Sand Asphalt
Sand asphalt is a mixture designed to provide excellent waterproofing of the concrete and bonding with the asphalt upper layer. Thanks to its relatively high bitumen content and the use of Colflex® PMB, sand asphalt acts as a stress-absorbing membrane protecting against reflective cracking. Besides, sand asphalt can be applied with standard pavers, making it a very efficient and fast-paced application. Asphalt leveling/reprofiling might be required prior to the application of sand asphalt.
